The 2007 DFANA Gathering and General Meeting will be held in Williamsburg, Virginia at the Williamsburg Scottish Festival, on Saturday, September 29, 2007

2007 heralds the 30th Anniversary for Williamsburg Scottish Festival (WSF)!  To celebrate this 30-year Anniversary, the festival will be dedicated to the
U.S. military.
One of the festival sponsors,
Checkered Flag MINI,
has generously provided a
2007 Mini Cooper
to be raffled off, with all proceeds going to Disabled American Veterans.

ACCOMODATIONS: 
Arrangements have been made for DFANA Members to stay at the Best Western Williamsburg. The rooms will be available for reservation under the name Dalzell Clan until 28 August 2007. The room rate per night is $49.00 plus a 10% tax and a room occupancy tax of $2.00.  Phone number to call is (800) 446-1062.

A limited number of rooms are available SO RESERVE EARLY!

WHAT DFANA WILL BE DOING:
Friday, Sept. 28Check in to the hotel and be sure to ask about other DFANA members.  There may be an opportunity for an early informal get-together.
Saturday,Sept 29
We will have the Dalzell Family Association Tent at the Games during the day, 9:00am - 4:00 pm.  Members can use the tent as home base while enjoying the Games. There will be a Parade of Clans at 12 Noon, and all DLs are encouraged to join the parade.  On Saturday afternoon we will have our Annual General Meeting and family picnic on the festival grounds -- check in at the Dalzell Tent for an update on the time and place.  DFANA WILL PROVIDE COLD DRINKS AND DESSERT.  FAMILIES ARE REQUESTED TO BRING THEIR OWN PICNIC FOOD WITH THEM OR YOU MAY PURCHASE IT ON THE GROUNDS.
